| Our teams of builders give God glory for His way of using us in Ukraine to help build churches, ministry centers, and also houses. Wood-frame construction is very unique in this post-soviet culture where nothing less formidable than concrete was used for centuries.
We are helping pastors cut their costs and time frames of construction drastically as compared to brick and concrete structures. At the same time we're training local men to build using their native forestry materials. We're so thrilled to erect building frames in 1 and 2 weeks and then to visit later after the pastor's local men have finished the project and see a beautiful building serving the congregation.
The people of these congregations praise God with us that they will no more be evicted from a dark, cold, dilapidated governmental theater where they rented before.
As wood-frame construction catches on, individuals and organizations come to us asking to include them in God's blessing by building houses. We thus are growing into this area as we train more Ukrainian builders. |
